
Former member of the British band One Direction, Liam Payne, shared in an interview his struggle with anxiety, agoraphobia, and alcohol addiction. At the beginning of 2023, he disappeared from social media, worrying his followers. The singer explained the reason for his absence, revealing that he needed to step away from everything to find himself again.
"I was paralyzed, sitting in the car sweating, thinking that I just didn't want to be there," Payne confessed about his anxiety attacks. After disconnecting from the world for 100 days, he decided to enter a rehabilitation program to address his alcohol addiction. Upon completing the program, he managed to stay sober for six months.
The emotional and physical recovery process was tough for the artist. "I needed to take some time for myself because I no longer recognized myself," Liam Payne shared. As a result of his experience, he decided to publicly address his situation to raise awareness about the importance of seeking help in times of crisis.
Regarding his fortune and legacy, after his passing in October 2024, it was revealed that he had not left a will. His 32 million dollars will be managed by his ex-wife, Cheryl Cole, for the benefit of their common child, Bear. Conversely, his last partner, Kate Cassidy, will have no right to claim part of his inheritance.
